The future of love:

Your partner is another man/woman encased in opposite sex body. You have the responsibility of knowing who your opposite sex is, what are the similarities and differences between both of you from creation. Uniquely is each person with defined roles and duties. Instead of trying to control or dictate to him/her, study to understand who a man/woman is, strengths and ability to honor covenant. The future of your love is in your understanding of the opposite sex and live with them with knowledge. Be interested in the tomorrow of love, shield your relationship with knowledge. Your words:

Your integrity is always at stake when you are found not to be true to your words in the relationship. If your partner struggles to place value and reliance on your words, the relationship is said to be a walking ghost. Learn to be true to your words at whatever cost and in all situations. Note that, it was your words that birthed the union. Rendering your words valueless and destroying your trustworthiness will crucify the relationship in no time. Living alone

As couple, deliberately and consciously learn to do good to others. Never live your life for yourself alone. There are situations in the course of the relationship when you shall need others to standby you or extend a helping hand. Those you helped at your comfort or peaceful period are those you will find returning good unto you. There are situations you will find out that your husband or wife can't help you or cannot alone help you. If you have lived your life not helping anyone, you shall likely be alone with your load. You are together to effectively help others in your environment and make a mark in the situations of people. This act decorates your relationship more beautifully than gold ornaments. Let your love improve others relationships. Love is sooo sweet.

Experience love:

The taste of every food is experienced when eaten. Love is truly experienced when shed and released for the enjoyment of he/she. Bottled up love is never to the benefit of either party. What is your companionship, lovemaking, support, care and provisions if it not a testimony of anyone. To experience love, it is has to be available always and enjoyed by him/her. Do not be among those who pride themselves with history, telling the story of how they used to love but cannot say same in their relationships today. Manifest love to the full, fulfill all promises in love, maintain the highest standards of love. Love is sooo sweet.

THE OLD MAN AND HIS CHILDREN

THE SETTING
The story took place in an Eastern African village.

The Subject Matter
Old man Kamau, resting under a mugumo tree, is unable to sleep because his twin grandsons, Mwangi and Njoroge, were quarreling. When blows began flying, their mother comes in to separate and scold them. The old man then invites them and shares a story of another old man to them. In the story, seven sons were given a bundle of sticks by their father to break in turn. None of them was able to do so. However, when he gave a stick each out of the bundle to each child, they broke them easily. The old man in the story explained to his grandchildren that when sticks are tied, they are harder to break than when separated. Old man Kamau then points out to his grandsons that the same principle applies to humans. When people are together, they are strong, but when they fight among themselves they become weak.

CHARACTERS
A. Njoroge and Mwangi
They are apt to duty. Their distrust of each other leads them to quarrel often. From the story they fear or revere their father. They have respect for their grandfather as well.
B. The Children's Mother
She is strict, applying a little corporal punishment to deter the boys.
C. Old Man Kamau
He is seen to be very wise man. He carefully uses a simple story bring his grandsons to make peace. He's tolerant of the noise of the flies and his grandchildren.
D. The Boy's Father
He's seen to be a disciplinarian, revered by his sons.

B. A people who fight among themselves become weak, and a people united people are strong.

LITERARY DEVICES
.. Antithesis (the complete opposite of situations)
A. The peaceful atmosphere enjoyed by the old man and the noisy atmosphere created by his grandchildren are completely opposite.
B. The old man himself is an example of antithesis. He has a calm demeanor outside but inwardly he is disturbed by the noise around.
2. Alliteration
A. ..sat....stool...spreading.. /s/

3. Rhetorical Question
"How could he be at peace when...heard all over the compound?"
4. Onomatopoeia
