POETRY/POEM
A poem is a piece of writing in a verse (stanza) form that expresses ideas, thoughts, experiences and deep feelings.

Poetry
Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings recollected in tranquility. Poetry is also the art of writing a poem.
Poet: The writer of poems.
Poetess: A female who writes poems.
Nature poet: A poet who usually writes about the countryside.
Poetic Licence: The freedom that poets/artists have to change facts and ignore grammar rules.

Poetic Justice: It is a situation where characters of a novel/drama are judged fairly.

SOME TYPES OF POEMS
1. Epic
A narrative poem that convey moral and culture at a time. It also talks about great deeds of great men/hero. A poem about The Big Six, Independence of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
2. Ballad
A poem on the subject matter of love, and sung by the poet or group of singers in a story form.
3. Eulogy
A poem/writing that contains a high praise of somebody.
4. Ode
A formal long poem which is serious in nature. It is solely to honour someone.
5. Lyric
It is a direct appeal of the poet to the readers about any incident or historical events.
6. Pastoral poem
A poem that describes incidents and scene of the countryside/village.
7. Allegory
A famous form of poetry with two symbolic meanings (literal and deeper meanings).
8. Elegy
This type of poem is the lamentation of the death of a person or his near one.

OTHERS
1. Dirge
A sad song or hymn sung at a burial, for the dead person.
2. Lullaby
A rhyme or song sung to lure a baby to sleep.
3. A Parable
It is a short story or statement intended to signal a moral or religious point.
Example is the parable of the ten virgins (Matthew 25:1-13)
4. Epitaph
It is an inscription on a gravestone.
5. Anthology
A group of poems/stories/songs by different people collected together in one book
6. A Puzzle
It is a thought provoking question intended to amuse and exercise the brain.

Universal love: Your love should be all encompassing and all expressing at all times. Avoid seasonality, partiality, and conditionalities in loving in the relationship. At any point in love, you can do better and should strive for the best. To keep your partner on fire for you, let your stream of love be permanently sweet and forever lovely. At all times, you have the best and right package of affection to show and know exactly how to give with significant impacts. When you deliver your best, your own joy produces evidence. Love is sooo sweet.
